Welcome to the Web site of the Golden Gate Boys Choir & Bellringers. We are a musical organization for boys, providing them with an outstanding opportunity to develop their talent and general musical appreciation skills through a graduated, thorough course of musical study.
What's Going On
East Coast Tour 2008
The Golden Gate Boys Choir and Bellringers is touring Washington, D.C. to participate in the Pueri Cantores American Festival and perform at places of national and historic interest in addition to local churches. Performance venues include: The National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, The Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington D.C. VA Medical Center, the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Silver Spring, and Ben's Chili Bowl. You may see tour photos on the GGBC Flickr account.

Contribute to the GGBC
Now you can contribute to the Golden Gate Boys Choir online! Just go to
JustGive and make a
secure donation. Donations are used to give scholarships to boys who would
otherwise be unable to join the choir. The GGBC is a nonprofit 501(c)(3)
organization (Federal Tax ID # 94-3093661).
Most second Saturdays of each month, the Golden Gate Boys Choir and Bellringers sing and play bells for the 5:15 Mass at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in San Francisco. The Church is located at 2320 Green Street. Come and join us.

Boy(s) of the Month
The Boys of the Month
Certificates of citizenship award were recently bestowed on Benjamin Vazirani, Zachary Menjivar and Anthony Ford at the GGBC Honors Convocation and Awards Assembly. A good citizen, among other things, takes part in the life of the community, helps serve the community, works to keep order and civility among people. In the choir, these young men can be seen in various ways to do the same. These members, or "citizens of the GGBC" have excellent attendance records, and they place a priority on bringing their portfolios and music, which improves the practice session quality. Each of these boys has been seen and heard to recommend the choir to potential new members and tell what they find interesting and challenging about the group.
These singers remind other boys about what is expected and needed for good discipline and to model acceptable behaviour to others. What a trio!
Bray McDonnell, also in the picture, recieved the Junior Musicianship Award.
